Sometimes the life you’ve built no longer feels like the life you want.
Maybe anxiety keeps you stuck in overthinking and self-doubt. Maybe you have ADHD or autism and feel exhausted from masking, constantly trying to meet expectations that never seem designed for you. Perhaps you’re carrying the effects of trauma, struggling with dissociation, or finding yourself caught in relationship patterns that leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and others.
You know something needs to change—but you’re not sure where to begin.
I understand what it’s like to reinvent yourself and choose a different path.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in healthcare while raising four children—including two teenagers—and completing graduate school. From balancing family responsibilities and career demands to navigating my own healing journey, I learned that growth often requires courage, persistence, and a willingness to begin again.
Today, I help teens and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, and life’s transitions so they can better understand themselves, build healthier patterns, and create lives that feel more authentic.
Therapy is about more than learning coping skills.
It’s about understanding why certain patterns developed, recognizing the strengths you already possess, and creating lasting change that fits who you are—not who you think you’re supposed to be.
My style is warm, collaborative, and genuine. I work hard to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted while also helping you make meaningful progress toward your goals.
Whether you’re healing from trauma, learning to work with an ADHD brain, navigating autism, or rebuilding after difficult experiences, we’ll move at a pace that feels both supportive and challenging.
I believe we can do hard things—but we don’t have to do them alone.
One of the experiences that shaped me most as a therapist was my own journey through trauma therapy.
It showed me firsthand how healing happens when you have the right support, practical tools, and a trusting therapeutic relationship.
As someone who has balanced a demanding healthcare career, raised four children, completed graduate school, and rebuilt my own life along the way, I understand how easy it is to lose yourself while caring for everyone else.
That’s one reason I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, embrace their strengths, and move toward lives that feel more meaningful and fulfilling.
I take a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy that recognizes every person’s brain, experiences, and story are unique.
I integrate EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work to address both the underlying causes of distress and the practical skills needed for everyday life.
I have a special interest in working with:
I also offer EMDR Intensives for clients who are ready to engage in deeper trauma work over a shorter period of time.
Every treatment plan is tailored to your unique goals, strengths, and needs.
I work especially well with people who:
Healing doesn’t happen all at once.
It happens one conversation, one insight, and one courageous step at a time.
Whether you’re learning to better understand your neurodivergent mind, healing from trauma, or simply ready to stop repeating old patterns, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Together, we’ll create a path forward that feels authentic, sustainable, and true to who you are.
