One of the most common questions therapists are asked is, “What made you choose this field?” For me, the simplest answer is this: I became the person I needed when I was younger. I chose this path to hold space for others in their pain, to remind them they’re not alone, and to offer the kind of presence and support I longed for as a child.
Now, as a new parent, I find myself offering that same presence to my son—showing up for him in the ways I wasn’t always prioritized growing up. There’s a quiet, powerful beauty in being able to witness someone’s most vulnerable moments and offer them safety, understanding, and care.
This is the heart of my work.
I’m deeply committed to helping people strengthen the connections within their most meaningful relationships. With advanced training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, I specialize in guiding couples through the healing process after infidelity, rebuilding emotional and physical intimacy, improving communication, and navigating life’s many stressors together.
I approach therapy from a systemic lens—recognizing that each person is shaped by the family, cultural, and spiritual systems around them. This perspective allows me to support clients in creating meaningful, lasting change not just within themselves, but within their relationships and communities as well.
