Many of us navigate the world using the survival skills we learned in our childhood. We often grew up learning to view and interact with the world in a way that made us feel safe. Now, some of these survival styles hinder us from building deeper connections with others and ourselves. Our marriage becomes challenging, family interactions feel superficial, and we often feel the need to be vulnerable but don’t out of fear of judgment. This stops us from connecting with others, establishing boundaries, and making better decisions.
I will provide you with the space to explore patterns, mental and emotional blocks that have hindered you. In doing so, you will acquire the knowledge to overcome your anxiety, depression, and other life obstacles. I will help you reframe your understanding of vulnerability and see it as a strength and not a weakness. It is time to be different!
I have a Master’s of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. While working towards finalizing my second licensure in mental health counseling by May of 2025, I intend to expand my scope of practice to include trauma. I have had 8-year experience working with adults who struggle with co-occurring disorders, SMI, general mental health, and substance abuse disorders in various behavioral health organizations.
I am very passionate about providing therapy to all who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders that contribute to the use of alcohol or other substances.
I was raised in Flagstaff, AZ and moved to Phoenix in 2012. I am the proud wife of a United States Army Veteran who completed several tours in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and is currently overseas in Djibouti, Africa. In her time off, you might spot her baking, listening to French music, traveling, and spending time with her two beautiful dogs.
